Delete your account

Option 1: in the app (fastest)

1. Open The Sagest Companion and sign in.
2. Go to Settings, then the Data & Privacy tab, then Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion and you are signed out.

Option 2: by email

If you can no longer use the app, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm it is you and schedule the deletion.

What happens next

For 30 days your account is on hold. Your data is kept but not used, and you can sign back in to restore your account if you change your mind.

After 30 days your account and all data linked to it are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in details (email address and name)
• Your settings and preferences
• Conversation summaries and mood check-ins
• Records of suggested content and your ratings
• Safety event records and daily usage records

Full conversation text is never stored in the first place. We do not keep any data about you after the 30 days, except where the law requires us to.

Just want to remove your history?

You can delete your conversation history without deleting your account: in the app, go to Settings, then the Data & Privacy tab, then Conversation history.
